Keep Cool During Summers

Wear loose clothes: Yes, we may have heard this before, but do we actually implement it? Albeit, no. We all start shopping for the summers when it is the peak time and are not left with much time to scout and look for brands that offer both style and comfort. If you think you do not have many summer friendly clothes, start shopping today. Domestic and international brands start stocking dresses for women and t-shirts for men around this time, which you should not miss out on.

Avoid flimsy fabrics: We cannot help that we have to stay covered in thick jackets all through winters, which leaves us with summers to flaunt our wardrobe. Apparently, this also means that we get obsessed with fashion and do not check the fabric we are wearing. Flimsy fabrics stick to the body when we start sweating and leave us irritated, not to ignore the skin rashes they cause.

Let go of the denim: No matter how much you love your jeans, summers call for loose trousers in skin friendly materials. Denim is thick and causes perspiration resulting in discomfort. Switch to trousers for men / women and feel the difference this summer season.

Avoid embellishments: Beads and metals on the garment weighs down the clothes, making them stick to the body, ultimately trapping body heat. Opt for embroidery if you have to wear something rich-looking.

Go for natural fabrics: Nothing looks and feels better than cotton in summers. It is more breathable than materials like polyester or rayon, is better at absorbing sweat, dries quickly, and allows air to circulate well. You can also go for linen or viscose which are again, gentle on the skin and great for summers.

Summer Wardrobe

Arms – are yours toned? Then wear sleeveless and capped sleeves. If there is even the hint of flab, keep it covered. OK, stop whining. If you buy the correct fabric, you won’t be hot. Natural fabrics, such as cotton are much cooler than synthetic fabrics. In fact, having your arms constantly exposed to the sun can make you even warmer.

Bust – If you have a large bust, do not accentuate with tops gathered around the bust or with horizontal stripes. If you have a smaller bust, wearing wrap, criss-cross, or gathered tops will make you look a little bigger.

Stomach & Hips – Sigh! Here we go again with those low-rise pants. Please, let me get through one day without seeing flab hanging over a pair of low-rise pants. Wearing low-rise pants and a short shirt with that hint of flab hanging over makes you look ridiculous, not cool. If you want to cover a little tummy bulge, wear a shirt that cuts in under the bust and then flares a little.

Legs & Thighs – Look at the back of your legs. If they are not toned or if you have an excess of cellulite, avoid short shorts.

Legs & Ankles – Pant lengths are crucial here. If your pants are the wrong lengths you will look dumpy, short, like you have all leg or you have chunky ankles. Capris and cropped pants come in all lengths so select one that is flattering to your shape.

So here are the 5 rules:

  1. Wear a length sleeve that makes your arms look in proportion.
  2. Wear tops that skim the bust to diminish or gather at the bust to enhance.
  3. Wear shirts that flatter not make you fatter. The same goes for the rise of pants.
  4. Watch the cut of your pants. You don’t want to accentuate hips, knees or thighs if those are problem areas.
  5. The length and shape of your legs and ankles will determine the length of your pants.

Types of Water Shoes

Water sandals

Water sandals are a practical choice for someone who does not demand the high level of protection and traction offered by the water shoes. They are great for summer use and extremely comfortable because of the open design. However, the open design means they do not give a lot of foot protection, so it is important to be careful when walking or climbing in slippery places.

Water shoes

Water shoes are the most versatile option with the ability to give traction and toe protection similar to normal land shoes, but also the comfort and quick drying ability of water sandals. The look and style of these shoes vary significantly. They can look much-like a pair of athletic shoes while others can appear like a simple pair of sandals. Also, the versatile nature of the water shoes makes them a practical choice away from the water. For instance, they are great to wear for a land excursion that includes hiking in an area with plenty of rocky or steep terrain. Water shoes are particularly popular with canoeists.

Wet shoes

Wet shoes are designed to solely work in a specific environment. They aren’t likely to be much use out of the water or give much versatility. This type of shoe has a thin sole which is fully acceptable in a raft or boat, but it is not a very comfortable option to walk on a hard surface, such as a gravel or rough parking lot. A great use for the wet shoes is for kayaking or canoeing because it helps to keep the feet warm in cold weather conditions.

About Dressing for Hot Weather

1. Instead of wearing shorts and T-shirts to beat the heat, wear light dresses and flirty skirts. The best skirts are flared and knee length. Choose them in linen, cotton or rayon. If you have a selection of summer dresses, getting dressed is a snap and you will always look great with little effort. Always wear pumps with knee-length dresses and skirts. The wrong shoes will spoil your look – be careful. Kitten-heeled pumps are a great choice and come in many styles. They are not too high, comfortable and give the leg a longer look.

2. If you are not sure about wearing florals, don’t worry. Add a print bag or use a flower on your lapel as an accent. If you wear prints in dresses or skirts, keep the print in proportion to your figure. A large print will make you appear larger.

3. Buy a few white T-shirts to wear with jeans and choose a finer fabric to wear with suits for a more professional look. When you wear whites pay attention to your undergarments – avoid lacy bras – choose to wear nudes, they will not show under white. White is great with black – mix it up with black or white sandals and a black or white purse or accessorizing with polka dots.

Wear Womens Suede Boots

Now, womens suede boots are making a comeback. Throughout the years, this type of footwear has come into and gone out of style which in fashion terms makes this style a classic. Look around and you will see that boots made from suede are everywhere; at playhouses, at chic nightclubs, in shopping malls, at the beach and all places in between. There are so many trendy styles available and so many ways to wear womens suede boots that there is just not enough room here to list them all.

How you wear a pair of womens suede boots really is just a matter of the look that you are trying to achieve. If you are simply looking for comfort, a pair of neutral colored, ankle length boots will do the trick. The natural color of the boot will match any outfit. Don a few suede accessories such as a purse and/or a lightweight suede jacket and you will achieve a look that is comfortable and very stylish. If you are heading out for a night on the town, you will want a style that looks good. Oftentimes women have to trade off comfort for appearance. Not so when you pair your outfit with suede boots. A tall length boot in black will give you a look that is sleek and sophisticated (and best of all, comfortable!) If instead you will be spending the night watching the latest hit movie that has been released on DVD, then a pair of suede boot style slippers will be the right choice. Any look you are trying to achieve, whether it is the western look, the punk look, the trendy look or the outrageous look, can be accomplished simply by finishing off your outfit with the right pair of womens suede boots.

The nice thing about womens suede boots is that they are made from animal skin, a natural material. If an animal’s skin can protect the animal from the elements, just think how these boots can help protect your feet. A double faced suede material will have the best mix of features. The inside of the boot will be soft and pliable and after just a short amount of time wearing the boots, the insoles will conform to the shape of the arch. The natural wicking properties of the animal skin will keep moisture and perspiration away from the feet helping them stay dry, comfortable and odor free. To reap the most benefits, these boots should be worn on bare feet.

Denim Trends

White Denim. Another risky approach, but it can really pay off. You really must know what to wear with, in order not to look like a trash banker or a bored desk-clerk on vacation. This style is fitted to those who want to look more like a gigolo or a bad-boy. It goes really well with a leather motorcycle-jacket or with clothes that allow the wearer to show some enhanced musculature.

Distressed Denim. The distressed jeans theme is still present and chances are that it will still stay with us for a long time. Although many contest it due to its hobo-ish apparel, it may go surprisingly well with some clothes. You can choose to display your entire plethora of bleached, ripped and raw=edged distressed denim in a smart and creative way. Keep everything else simple and what’s too much is too much: avoid overly-ripped pants.

90’s are back. There is a general trend of going back to the roots of fashion and denim jeans make no exception. The 90’s were a great period for denim jeans and many fashion designers choose to revive the style that were once then. Classic grey wash denim jeans are making a heavy comeback. Classic 90’s are characterized by a looser fit and a pale finish. What you should be worried about when you choose to buy vintage denim are the cut and the matching colors for the rest of the wardrobe.

Right Prom Dress

Size – Buy a dress that fits! Prom is not a time to be cheap and save a little money by purchasing a dress that is a size too big or small. Find a dress that fits your body shape, and that will bring out the best in you.

Accessorize – Prom dresses all by themselves can be quite boring at times. It’s amazing though how a simple dress can look with something as simple as a flower or a wrap. Keep finding a dress as first priority and accessories second. You will run into a nightmare if you try to find a dress to match accessories.

Coordinate – Chances are you have a date that will be taking you to Prom. Communicate with him to figure out what he is going to be wearing as far as style and color to make sure that you will coordinate with him. This is often overlooked but can you see the importance for example if: You buy a light colored dress that has a retro feel to it, and your date is going for a flash look with shiny suit and tie. The two just won’t match and you will end up looking like an odd pair.

Take your time when looking for a dress. Prom is important! I would recommend taking the above into consideration; remember though that confidence can make any dress look good, so if the dress you really want doesn’t really work for you, Get it! Feel good about yourself and have a same prom.

Glamorous Trouser Suit

This is what has happened to the humble trouser suit, for decades an understated and overlooked wardrobe staple, which has suddenly come into its own. At the forefront of the new wave of suits are Paul Smith, who now applies his genie-like tailoring talents to women’s suits as well as men’s; French designer Agnes b, who has built her core business around impeccably-fitted women’s suits in lightweight wool with trouser shapes ranging from drainpipe to flares; and Calvin Klein, who has been lured away momentarily from all things casual to embrace formal tailoring.

The suit has come a long way since Coco was first photographed lounging around in a man’s tweed ensemble, way back in 1929. In fact, she caused something of a storm. Although the silent movie era had featured starlets swathed in silky pyjama suits, the sight of a woman wearing a sharply tailored jacket and trousers, with the attendant undertones of androgyny and male power, was not only new but decidedly shocking.

It wasn’t until the second world war, with the sudden influx of women into traditionally male jobs, that women’s trouser suits really came into their own. Women started wearing them to work and after the war, when designers developed their first ready-to-wear collections, trouser suits gradually became an alternative to the formal skirt suits introduced by Dior with his New Look.

The reasons for the suit revival are simple: suits are comfortable, smart, glamorous and, most importantly, hide a multitude of sins. Can’t be bothered to iron your shirt? Easy, just press the front and stick a jacket over it (remembering not to take it off, of course). So you over-indulged on the designer beer? No problem, a long jacket hides the fact that your trousers don’t fasten at the waist any more. Thankfully, suit trousers are usually cut roomy enough to allow for easy readjustments of the waistband.

Men Wear Cargo Pants

Camo cargo shorts or pants with the short sleeve T-shirts in summer.

This type of pants can have the most trending appearance since the designers of menswear always try to bring forth the new designs to the market, including those with camouflage printings. Since the cargo pants with camo printings are quite eye-catching already, pairing them with the simple tops like the solid color T-shirts is enough to bring cool looks to men. If you want to go for a printing T-shirt like a Hawaiian shirt, you will even look more casual and fashionable in a creative way.

Men’s cargo pants with a long sleeve loose shirt in spring and fall.

A confident and relaxed feel will be given to others if you look loose and casual in spring and fall. The long sleeve shirt is an appropriate fit for a little bit cool temperature, plus the loose and casual pants design, you are wearing one of the most classic street styles for men. The long black cargo shorts are appropriate to match with a sweater or hoodie too. You don’t have to hold the idea that cargo pants are only for certain tops.

Men’s cargo pants with coats and jackets in winter.

When the day is really cold, you can wear this type of pants too. No matter it is an overcoat, a trench jacket or a denim jacket you are going to wear, they will create warm and stylish looks without costing you much thinking. Besides the jacket’s pockets, folding cloth pockets of this kind of pants have a high-capacity, then you can wear this kind of fashion wear conveniently with the phone, wallet and other little stuff accompanied. As for the footwear, sneakers will look nice with sneakers, casual shoes or leather shoes as long as they have the coordinated colors.

Information of Tribal Tattoo Designs

The tribal tattoos history is a real kaleidoscope; each place of Earth where the tattoos are popular has a particular and many times surprising history, significance, tradition, and realization technique. But almost everywhere, the tattoos appeared a few hundred years ago.

The place where the word tattoo originated, were the tribal tattoo reached perfection for thousand of years is Tahiti. Here the tattoos applications are most painful, but it reached a high level of artistic endeavor. The habitants of Samoa still believe that the elaborate geometrical design of the traditional body suit is the way to show respect for the God-qualities, for others it is the rite of passage to manhood.

The ancient Maori warriors started their tattoos tradition painting their faces with charcoal before each battle. Then they began to make the design permanent, calling it “moko”. It was said that a man without “moko” was a “papatea” (plain face) and was considered an outcast.

Celtic tattoos are one of the most attractive design choices. The design comes from ancient art from Ireland, Scotland and England. They are as old as the Celtic history is.
Some fifth century painted pictures are representing warriors having tattoos all over their body; the tattoos are indicating the rank or caste. Later they were also symbols of religious devotion, simply for decoration or appeal for fertility.

Celtic tattoos are not duplicating real things, they are made of sinuous lines interweaving to complete a cycle. Almost all the Celtic tattoo designs are complicated, there is neither end nor beginning to it. There are many intricate patterns too…

Celtic animal designs are unending, but some have the cords terminate in feet, heads, or tails. Many designs are presenting zoomorphic elements or spirals.

Tattoos are also largely considered the mark of the Yazuka – the Japanese Mafia. A full body tattoo can take many years to be made and costs about $50000; the tattoo complicated colored design seems to have mythic power and only some specialized masters can accomplish such a miraculous work of art.

In China the tattoos are made with designs of 2500 years old, and are representing a variety of fantastic beasts: fish, deer, dragoon. There are made for personal protection and like emblems of noble birth. Siberian tribesmen still ink symbols down their spine to cure the back pain.

In Russia, the tattoos tradition isn’t so old: they were the prisoners’ secret language. In Stalin’s gulags, tattoos were a form of protest; today they are only a fancy accessory.

Borneo is an exotic and hard to reach place where tattoos ward off harm and disease. In the “heart of darkness” tattoos as protection gains some credibility.

Hawaii is home for some famous tattooist, like Norman Keith. He is well known “for giving the modern tattoo revolution a major boost.” He began moving American tattooing towards more Japanese style, unified, custom design. He also changed the status of tattooists, bringing them out of the underground to the growing light of the artistic respectability.

In St. Lawrence Island the Asiatic Eskimo tribesmen can live past 100 and have, certainly, the last most authentic tattoos on this planet.
We can find spectacular tribal tattoos even in Queen Charlotte Islands, where the images are family history told in pictures. Animals’ designs on the hands are announcing the family name.

In Mackenzie Delta small crosses on the cheeks or shoulders are keeping a tally of the taken whales. Netsilik women were tattooed in order to gain admittance to the afterworld.

In the northern Kalinga (Philippines) the tribesmen are the most ornamented people of the region; their body art is resurrected one more time.

Now let see the tribal tattoo tradition in US. Since the 18th century, merchant sailors acquired tribal skin art returning from voyages in the South Seas. Because members of the British aristocracy traditionally took to the sea, and returned with tattoos (discreetly hidden) some western tattooist set up shop near the docks. The tattoos become exotica for the upper classes. Later, the port city tattooist began inking criminals, fiefs and prostitutes and tattoo became mark of lowlifes. This is the reason way for hundred of years the tattoo remained underground. The tattooist was considered as an outlaw and the tattoo was imprisoned by persecutions and prohibitions born of myriad fears.
